Born in Utica, New York, Prophetess Gwendolyn L. McKinsey received her foundation at St. Mathews Temple COGIC in Utica, New York where her grandmother was Missionary Allonie Carter-Brooks. The family then move to Providence, RI and attended church where her grandfather was the late Bishop O.D. Carter. She accepted Jesus at the young and tender age of 8.

At the age of 21 she was drawn to the city of Hartford, Connecticut. In 1983 she joined Greater Faith Ministries where she remained a faithful and obedient Servant of God, under the leadership of Apostle T.C. Pettaway. God began to elevate her in many ways. She was licensed as a Missionary in 1985 under the jurisdiction of Apostle John E. Wilson and the late Bishop J.P. Morgan Sr. and as Evangelist in 1989 under Apostle T.C. Pettaway. She is a powerful and anointed women of God who has taken His message from Hartford to Massachusetts and New York to Florida to name a few.

Prophetess McKinsey has a benevolent heart for Outreach. She started an annual Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner for the homeless, a summer lunch program for the inner-city youths and has done outstanding mission work at the local homeless shelter and is an active member of the Prison Association. She is most overjoyed when souls give their lives to God. The Lord enabled her to witness and lead to the Lord what is now one of Hartford's great and dynamic men of God.

She has served in several post at Greater Faith Ministries; including leading head Usher, leading the Single's Ministry, Vacation Bible School Coordinator, chaired the Women's Ministry where she did a bold and great work for the Lord. God empowered Prophetess to become the Founder and CEO OF Women After God's Heart Ministries. The mission is to bring healing and deliverance to women, especially abuse and domestic violence. Following the call on her life and determined to make a difference in some else's life, she also established a Christian-Based mission "I Am My Sister's Keeper". Over the past 32 years, and to the Glory of God, she has advanced the Kingdom of GOD.

After having and encounter with God, Bountiful Blessings Fellowship Ministries was birthed on February 15, 2015. Through the weekly prayer closet and Women After God's Heart Ministries, souls continue to be saved, healed and delivered. Her intent is to add more souls to the kingdom of God.

Today, God is taking her on another journey. A journey that has taken her full circle and 32 years in the making. She begins this journey as the Senior Pastor of Greater Faith Church Ministries. The excitement of this joyous happening is palpable!
